One of the things we love most about being in construction is seeing people take the leap — turning a skill they’ve worked years to master into something that’s fully their own. There’s something special about watching someone bet on themselves, put their name on the line, and build a business from the ground up.

That’s why it’s been exciting to see Rogan Roofing getting its footing in Wellington.

Roofing isn’t easy work. It’s early mornings, long days, unpredictable weather, and a whole lot of responsibility. When a roof goes on, it has to be done right — because it protects everything underneath it. Starting a company in that space takes more than tools and a truck. It takes confidence, discipline, and a real belief in the craft.

We’ve always respected people who choose that path. The ones who don’t wait around for permission, who see an opportunity and say, “I can do this better — and I’m willing to put in the work.” Those are the builders who raise the standard for everyone around them.

Wellington is a place where quality matters. Homes take a beating from wind, rain, and time, and roofing here isn’t something you can cut corners on. Seeing a company step in with pride in their workmanship and a commitment to doing things the right way is something we’ll always support.

At SPS Group Construction, we believe the industry is better when skilled tradespeople chase their vision. When they build something of their own. When they care deeply about the work they leave behind.

If you're in need of roofing done by people who take that responsibility seriously, Rogan Roofing is worth knowing.

Here’s to new beginnings, strong roofs, and the people who aren’t afraid to go after the dream they’ve been working toward all along. We’ll always root for that!
